2018: Annual Review of Charity Quilts

On this first day of 2019, I’ve done a quick review of one aspect of our lives in 2018. This past year, Judi and I made 119 quilts and blankets for charity. This includes 41 quilt tops made during three popup sewing days. On the popup days we had a total of about 40 friends join the effort, ages ranging from six to eighty-eight years. In addition, Judi made 44 knit and fleece hats that were given to schools and 4 dresses for Dress a Girl Around the World. Thanks to all who donated fabric, sewing machines, yarn, and time as partners in this service to others. Now I need to clean the longarm quilting machine and get started on the first quilt for 2019. Happy New Year to all.
