Early this summer we realized that we had three 16x22x11-inch totes and two 16x22x6-inch totes filled with Christmas fabric. Judi estimated that maybe ninety percent of this fabric we received from other people and the rest was left over from various projects.
What to do?
Christmas in July!
We have completed 14 Christmas throw quilts. Six more quilt tops are ready for quilting. Twenty-seven quilt kits have been assembled, so we’ll be celebrating Christmas in August, too. And at the end there will probably be scraps to make at least three more quilts, maybe four or five. Just before the 2021 holiday season gets started these quilts will go to senior adults in care facilities.
When it’s all done, we think we’ll have only one tote with Christmas fabrics to store until next year.)
